Passionate about South Asian Studies with emphasis on the Sikh tradition. Currently lecturing Punjabi Studies at UC Berkeley. Concurrently completing PhD at the University of British Columbia in South Asian Studies. Trained under traditional scholarly lineages via mentor-protégé pedagogy in India.
Previous lifetime includes being a practicing lawyer with an emphasis on taxation and corporate governance. Holistic legal education provides innumerable transferable skills to scholarly analysis.
Part time author to promote cultural and philosophical works to an English audience with a focus on the Punjabi diaspora.
